IgG Food Sensitivity Testing
Commonly referred to as Food Intolerance Testing, an IgG-mediated food sensitivity test is a simple blood analysis against a panel of 173 food proteins to identify your triggers.
The kit is sent to you at home with full instructions and everything you need. Once you send off your sample your results will be sent to me in approximately 5-7 working days.
Once received we can plan a food plan to eliminate these triggers. It looks at your immune response by measuring levels of a particular antibody (IgG) to a food protein.
The great news is that these food sensitivities are not permanent. Food elimination is for a period c12 weeks after which it is likely that you will be able to reintroduce the food without symptoms resurfacing.
I will support you fully with dietary advice during this period.
I work with the York Test panel for this process.
GI Effects Comprehensive Profile
Gut function testing looks at a number of markers using stool analysis to identify disturbances in the microbiota as well as inflammation in the gut or the presence of pathogens.
For anyone suffering from IBS or other unidentified digestive symptoms, a comprehensive gut function panel is essential.
With a detailed report we can look at the triggers for symptoms, the imbalances and possible causes that need to be addressed, and we can create a targeted plan and diet to support you and help resolve symptoms.
GI Effects Microbial Ecology Test
Sometimes we want to look specifically at the microbiome without feeling the need to investigate other markers that would be included in the Comprehensive Gut test.
A test kit is sent to you at home for you to provide your sample in the comfort of your own home. This is then sent to the lab for analysis and the results are released to me, approximately 10 working days later.
I will then take time to conduct an interpretation, and turn the results into a meaningful and actionable programme.
HuMap Urinary Hormone Test
This gives us a picture of the detoxification processes or areas that need support during this time, in terms of progesterone, oestrogen and androgens including testosterone.
Urine Samples need to be taken at intervals over a 24 hour period at a specific time in your cycle depending on the stage of life and particular symptoms we're looking to understand.
